Today is a school holiday and it is pouring rain. So, what to do to keep kids busy? How about a cupcake decorating party? First, baking cupcakes warms up the house - always a good thing when you don't have a heating system. Second, creativity gets a boost - just look at the results!
The boring ones on the bottom right are mine. The multicolored ones on the bottom left are my daughter's. She gets the award for most food coloring used. Did you know that if you mix all the colors in the box you get brown? The ones on the top are my son's. He gets the award for most candy used. He even named one the Ultimate Cupcake.
Naturally the most fun part of the experience is EATING one at the end. The only thing I didn't think of is the fact that now these delicious delicacies are sitting there tempting us all to eat them. Do you think they'll be gone by Wednesday?
