My mom read to me when I was very young. A few of the more memorable ones were The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe and later the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I'm still impressed that she read that entire trilogy out loud.

I remember when you read to Meg and me. I still think that 21 Balloons is one of my favorite books. Not because of the story (though it is good) but because it sort of bonded you to Meg and I even with us being so much younger (at least it felt like it at the time). Your love of books transfers to all that surround you. Thanks!

What a great encourager you are. Young moms can learn from your example. Sharing your love of books with your children is such a sweet way to create memories that last forever. Reading to you kids is one of my favorite "Mom" memories. Helps me to forget the spaghetti on the ceiling.

I love hearing stories like that! I'm already trying to read to Soren before bed now, and hope to stick with it. I really want him to enjoy books as much as Scott and I do.
