Book Diet

As anticipated, I did not finish any books in September. Every spare minute (and more!) was spent on reworking my life and making a massive direction change.

The good news is, good stuff is happening! I've already got a couple of contracts writing and teaching dance & music.

How about this month you leave a comment telling me what YOU read? I'm going to get back to my reading habit one of these days and I'll need many more books to read.

I am reading "Wildwood Dancing" as recommended by both you and Meg. I like it so far even though I haven't read very much yet.

I read the entire Gregor the Overlander series together along with my daughter. And the first Percy Jackson. And Catching Fire (well, that one I read just me, she's a little too young). And other stuff I think, but I can't remember the rest.

I'm reading Forest Born by Shannon Hale and will pass that on to the rest of the readers in the family. Good start, but I'm having trouble finding time to read much these days. Also just finished "My Life In France" by Julia Child. A very interesting perspective on French culture and cookery. Didn't know Julia was such a character!
