More Food. More Laughter.

Our exchange students expressed an interest in cooking a Japanese meal for us, so tonight we took our two students, plus one more (and her host student) to a Japanese grocery store in our area. (There are actually grocery stores for about every culture you can think of in our area: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, Australian, British, Eastern European...etc. One of the benefits of living in the Bay Area).

Anyway, the kids had a ball choosing the food and then we all went to my kids' dad's house to cook. There was a whole lot of giggling going on in the kitchen! But at the end, we were presented with a beautiful meal.

They made miso soup, edamame, and a seafood rice dish. Yum!

As they ate, and talked (both languages of course), they began to get silly. They were making visual jokes that everyone was cracking up about.

And by the way, soda coming out your nose is apparently funny in any language!

I agree, I think soda coming out the nose is a universal good time.
