A Little Shakin' Goin' On

At 10:40 am today we had a little earthquake. Only a 4.3. Enough for us to all look up from our desks, nod in unison, and say, "earthquake."

The funny thing was we had a customer from Australia in the office to be trained on his Magic Planet. The poor guy was ready to get on the next plane! C'mon, he can do poisonous reptiles, but not a little earth shakin'?

Nonetheless, I took a quick look at my 72 hr emergency kit tonight. Looks good.

I'm with your poisonous reptile guru friend. I can't handle the earth shakin'. The earth is supposed to stay put.

I remember the time there was a small one at our house and no one believed me when I thought I felt an earthquake. When the news came on everyone at home apologized for thinking I was crazy (I don't think you were there so I'm sure you would have believed me)

I'm glad everyone is okay, and that it doesn't seem to have caused too much alarm. Nevertheless, I am reassured to know you've got your 72 hour kit close by. If you do worry, you could always move to Utah:)

Having a little earthquake does add a bit of excitement to ones day. My only excitement is that it is April 1st and we are actually having some snow flakes falling outside this morning, no "fooling". I guess our spring will come a little late.
