I love spending holidays with family and friends.... Wish you were here and we could sit by the tree and drink hot chocolate and laugh about Christmas memories.
We could sit by the "fireplace" my son made and imagine that we were warm and that I had central heating.
We could frost cookies or make a gingerbread house at my table. This year we're going to attempt a gingerbread farm.
Just close your eyes and imagine. And have yourself a merry little Christmas.

I wish I could be with you too! It will be a very different year for me, but it is nice to know that I will still see you someday, and hopefully not too long.
I can't wait to see you the 25th! Mom and I have been contemplating making a gingerbread boat!
We sure enjoyed our visit and even without central heating or a real fireplace, your home is as warm and loving as ever. Merry Christmas with an extra helping of hugs.
