I Love the Mountains

I just spent a couple of marvelous days at Huntington Lake with my kids and my parents. It was heavenly... and not nearly long enough!

My dad snapped this photo of me just a few minutes after I arrived at the campsite. Didn't take me too long to enjoy being in the mountains and out of the office!


Here's a picture I took of one corner of the lake. It's absolutely gorgeous.

My kids of course took the opportunity to do lots of fishing with Grandpa. They caught a total of 7 fish each over the three days. And they ate them too!

We went on a couple of fun hikes while we were up there. Here we reached Rancheria Falls.


Here we stopped for a break on the way to Indian Pools.


It filled me up to spend time in the mountains by the lake with family.
